western leather vests with braid
These custom and handmade leather vests are made using a braided leather construction as were many of the cowboy vests in the days of yore. The braiding is done completely by hand and lots of times without the use of thread, hardware, or other materials. They are made in the USA using moccasin cowhide leather that is also made in America.
This particular vest has lapels, pockets, and a yoke on the back. It was built for a tall man. It actually has four pockets. Two of them, unseen in these views, are located on the inside using the same braided attachments as the outside pockets.
